Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- One to two weeknights of call
- Every fourth weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required)
- AART registration
- Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License
- Registered Cardiovascular Technologist credentials
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify integrity and expiration of all sterile supplies; prepare patient/equipment with sterile technique
- Prepare equipment for sterilization post-procedure
- Monitor, record, and log procedural data
- Ensure patient comfort and familiarity with equipment, prepping access sites and sterile draping as needed
- Scrub in with strict adherence to sterile/aseptic protocols
- Champion radiation safety, use of dosimeter, and minimize exposures
- Log fluoroscopy and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports
