Electrophysiology Technologist - Broadway, Virginia

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging and EP technology to support essential cardiovascular procedures. This contract position offers the chance to apply your technical abilities in electrophysiology within a dynamic clinical environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an EP Tech, with hands-on proficiency in operating imaging equipment relevant to electrophysiology procedures
• In-depth understanding of cardiac anatomy and EP lab protocols
• Current certification or registry in electrophysiology technology (CEPS or equivalent preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to accurately document findings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for patient interaction and team collaboration
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Previous experience in a similar hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging systems during cardiac EP studies and interventions under physician guidance
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile field for procedures
• Assist with intra-cardiac mapping, ablation, device implantations, and other diagnostic or therapeutic activities
• Capture, record, and review electrophysiological data to ensure accurate patient records
• Monitor patients’ condition throughout procedures, assisting clinicians with real-time adjustments as needed
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control guidelines, supporting optimal patient outcomes
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues quickly and efficiently

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
