Electrophysiology Technologist in Chatham, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in assisting with cardiac electrophysiology (EP) studies and ablation procedures
• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech and EP Tech, including familiarity with complex cardiovascular interventions
• Capability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment relevant to EP and Cath Lab procedures
• Current ARRT certification (or equivalent credential)
• BLS and ACLS certifications, with a strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technicians
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced, procedure-driven settings

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain specialized imaging and electrophysiology equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists during procedures, ensuring optimal workflow and adherence to best practices
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, responding promptly to any changes during procedures
• Obtain and record high-quality imaging data to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Support patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care as required
