Step into a dynamic role supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures in a busy Cath/EP Lab setting. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience in both electrophysiology and cath lab environments, playing a key part in patient care and collaborating with highly skilled medical professionals.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, weekdays 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • One variable weekday off per week
  • On-call requirement: one weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m.–Monday 6:30 a.m.) and four weeknights per month (5:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. the next day)
  • No additional weekend shifts outside the on-call schedule

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years’ recent experience in a Cath/EP lab setting
  • Proficient in scrubbing for heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures
  • Familiarity with Merge Hemo documentation system is a plus
  • Preferred: RCIS or RCES certification; ARRT with applicable cath lab scrub experience considered
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for and assist with a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Serve as the primary scrub tech for Cath and EP interventions, ensuring instrument readiness and sterile technique
  • Accurately document procedures, preferably using Merge Hemo
  • Respond promptly to on-call cases, collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health team members to ensure superior patient care
  • Provide support in both independent and team-driven clinical environments
