A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced EP Tech to work within its imaging department. This contract opportunity offers a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care, utilizing cutting-edge electrophysiology technology.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10s)
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Electrophysiology Technology is required
- Prior experience as an EP Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency with imaging modalities related to electrophysiology studies
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology procedures, and related equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to teamwork
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with a range of cardiac electrophysiology procedures, such as ablations and pacemaker/ICD insertions
- Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
- Ensure safety and comfort for patients throughout each procedure
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure equipment checks and sterilization
- Communicate procedure updates and patient status with the clinical team
