Electrophysiology Technologist - Gastonia, North Carolina

Experienced professionals in cardiac electrophysiology will find an excellent opportunity in this contract role focused on advanced imaging technology. This position specializes in EP procedures and supports a dynamic clinical environment dedicated to the highest standards in patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• 0630 to 1700
• 40 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an EP Tech, particularly in cardiac electrophysiology imaging
• Strong technical proficiency with imaging equipment used during EP procedures
• Competence in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP studies
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Demonstrated adaptability regarding weekend rotations and call schedules
• Efficient, detail-oriented, and able to maintain excellent documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Support electrophysiology studies by operating specialized imaging and recording equipment
• Work closely with clinicians to ensure accurate data collection and optimal patient safety
• Maintain readiness to participate in on-call rotations, including two weekends per month and two weekdays as discussed during interview
• Meet holiday coverage requirements as needed during the contract period
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, proactively addressing procedure needs
• Ensure all imaging protocols are followed, troubleshooting equipment and maintaining a sterile work environment
• Document and report findings in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives as outlined by departmental leadership
