An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging and Cath Lab Technician with expertise in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures, located in Grand Blanc, MI. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic work environment within a cardiovascular catheterization and EP lab, requiring a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in cath/EP settings. Candidates will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting in a variety of cardiac and vascular interventions.

Location:
The position is based at a well-equipped facility on Genesys Parkway in Grand Blanc, Michigan—a vibrant community known for its friendly atmosphere and access to recreational activities. Grand Blanc offers a blend of suburban comfort and proximity to major city amenities, making it an ideal location for healthcare professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, weekdays 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with one variable weekday off weekly
  • On-call one weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m. – Monday 6:30 a.m.)
  • On-call four weeknights per month (5:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. next day)
  • No additional weekend commitments outside of scheduled on-call

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth procedural flow
  • Utilize documentation systems, preferably Merge Hemo, for accurate procedural recording
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and procedural sterility

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in cath/EP lab settings with thorough scrub experience
  • RCIS or RCES certification preferred; ARRT licensure accepted with cath lab scrub experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Strong ability to work independently and in team environments
