Electrophysiology Technologist | Huntersville, North Carolina

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Electrophysiology (EP) technology to support advanced imaging procedures in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract opportunity offers consistent daytime hours, with responsibilities that focus on patient care in a collaborative and supportive setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 9-hour Day Shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
• No weekend rotation required
• Holidays: Closed
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech required
• Advanced competence with EP lab equipment and imaging systems
• Current certifications applicable to the EP Tech role
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic EP studies, including complex ablations and device implantations
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and recording equipment throughout procedures
• Maintain an aseptic environment and ensure adherence to all clinical protocols
• Document procedure activities and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and patients to deliver high-quality care
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to remain current with advances in EP technology and best practices
