Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as an EP Technologist, with expertise in imaging procedures related to electrophysiology
- Certification as an EP Tech or equivalent training preferred
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and lab safety protocols
- Competence in operating advanced imaging equipment
- Ability to interpret technical information and work effectively with physicians and nursing staff
- Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Current compliance with all applicable licensing or credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during EP studies and cardiac device implantations, including pacemakers and defibrillators
- Prepare, calibrate, and operate imaging and monitoring equipment for electrophysiological procedures
- Monitor and record patient vitals throughout procedures, promptly recognizing and reporting abnormalities
- Maintain documentation and logs in accordance with facility protocols
- Contribute to safe work practices, infection control, and equipment maintenance
- Help educate patients and families regarding procedures as needed
