Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an EP Tech in a healthcare setting
- In-depth understanding of electrophysiology procedures and related technology
- Proficient in the use of imaging equipment specific to cardiac electrophysiology labs
- Strong grasp of patient safety protocols and radiation safety practices
- Current certification or registry as required by state and national guidelines
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and adapt to evolving clinical situations
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain EP lab imaging equipment before, during, and after electrophysiology studies and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and cardiovascular teams to ensure effective diagnostics and interventions
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients for a variety of EP studies and ablations
- Maintain and record accurate documentation of procedures
- Follow all hospital policies regarding infection control and patient safety
- Assist in managing electrophysiology supplies and equipment inventory as needed
