Electrophysiology Technologist - Matthews, North Carolina

Seeking a skilled professional skilled in Imaging – EP Technology to support electrophysiology procedures within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a focused role working alongside a highly experienced cardiac team to deliver exceptional patient care with advanced technologies.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10s)

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist or equivalent credentials
• Proven experience assisting in EP lab procedures, including ablation, device implants, and mapping
• Strong knowledge of imaging modalities used in an EP setting
• Excellent proficiency in sterile techniques and patient safety protocols
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with all members of the cardiac care team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during complex electrophysiology procedures, ensuring imaging equipment is prepared and functioning optimally
• Prepare and position patients, verifying identity and medical history prior to procedures
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging and EP equipment, adhering to stringent quality and safety standards
• Monitor patient vital signs and document procedural details accurately and thoroughly
• Implement and reinforce infection control policies in all aspects of patient care
• Communicate procedural updates, anticipated needs, and status changes with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient outcomes
