Electrophysiology Technologist in Matthews, NC

Harness your expertise in electrophysiology and medical imaging in a specialized setting with consistent daytime hours. This contract opportunity is tailored for candidates with experience as EP Technologists, looking to apply their skills in a collaborative, focused medical environment.

Schedule:

• 9-hour Day Shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekends, on call, or holiday shifts required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an EP Technologist with demonstrated competency in electrophysiology lab procedures and medical imaging
• Current certifications appropriate for electrophysiology (RCES, RCIS, or equivalent) are highly valued
• Familiarity with the technical operation, calibration, and maintenance of EP and imaging equipment
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare protocols
• Ability to work efficiently within a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills
• SimpliFi Clinical Interview required

Responsibilities:

• Support electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, and related diagnostic or interventional EP procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and EP lab equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Monitor patients’ safety and vital parameters throughout procedures
• Document clinical and technical data with accuracy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelines
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary staff
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all infection control standards
