Electrophysiology Technologist in Monroe, NC

Seeking a skilled electrophysiology technician with experience in imaging to support dynamic healthcare teams. This contract opportunity offers structured hours and a consistent workweek in a collaborative clinical setting.

Schedule:

• 9-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift hours: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• No weekend shifts or holiday coverage required
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist, including strong imaging experience in EP procedures
• Valid certification and/or licensure in Electrophysiology Technology, where required
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology procedures, and imaging modalities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Familiarity with EP lab equipment and protocols

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists and clinical staff with diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient monitoring
• Operate specialized EP and imaging equipment to capture, monitor, and record electrical activity of the heart
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols throughout procedures
• Document patient data, procedural details, and equipment usage as required
• Support procedural preparation, including equipment setup, troubleshooting, and post-procedure breakdown
• Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures according to facility policies
