Schedule/Hours:
- Choose between 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Select from 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- On-call responsibilities required
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RCIS, RCES, or RT credentials
- Strong experience in cath lab and electrophysiology settings
- Proficient in intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implantation of cardiac devices
- Deep understanding of sterile scrub techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in all invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic/therapeutic procedures—including pacemaker placements and circulatory support (IABP, Impella)
- Organize and prep equipment and sterile trays for procedures; calibrate transducers for pressure readings
- Support patient positioning, monitoring setup, and operate power injectors
- Maneuver table/fluoroscopy equipment as requested
- Record and analyze hemodynamic data, cardiac outputs, and oximetry readings
- Maintain high standards for digital cine technology—image storage and retrieval
- Manage inventory, prepare equipment, and maintain PAR levels
- Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, radial access banding, and hemostasis
- Follow all protocols related to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS)
- Participate in on-call rotation as per organizational policy
- Recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias; support equipment calibration and maintenance
