Travel Electrophysiology Technologist in Paterson, NJ

Schedule/Hours:

• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• On-call required

Key Qualifications:

• Prior Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• RCIS, RCES, or RT credential
• Strong working knowledge of intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implantable devices
• Proficiency with sterile scrub technique

Core Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment for each case
• Support physicians in all invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, including pacemaker placements and circulatory support device management
• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring systems; analyze and record data
• Operate power injectors, patient monitoring, and digital cine technology for image handling
• Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and application of hemostatic devices
• Ensure best practices for inventory control and equipment care
• Participate in on-call rotations and support the clinical CVIS environment
• Accurately interpret and respond to cardiac arrhythmias
