Electrophysiology Technologist - Petersburg, Illinois

Expertise in both Cath Lab and EP Tech procedures is essential for this specialized imaging role. Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an EP Tech and Cath Lab Tech required
• ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent relevant certification preferred
• In-depth knowledge of imaging protocols, EP studies, and electrophysiology mapping systems
• Ability to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging and EP equipment for cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
• Monitor and record patient data and vital signs throughout procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize procedural outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and inventory of lab supplies
• Provide support during emergency or urgent cardiac interventions
