Electrophysiology Technologist - Pinson, AL

Step into a pivotal role supporting patient care and advanced cardiac procedures as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technician. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cardiac imaging, specifically within an electrophysiology environment, and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through precise technical support.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification or completion of an accredited EP Tech or Imaging program
• Demonstrated experience functioning as an EP Technician in a hospital or clinical electrophysiology lab
• Proficient in imaging techniques and intra-procedural support for electrophysiology studies and ablations
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, arrhythmias, and associated interventions
• Familiarity with recording/analyzing electrical signals, controlling mapping systems, and troubleshooting EP lab equipment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized EP imaging equipment
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, device implantations, and ablation procedures
• Monitor, record, and interpret electrophysiological data and vital signs throughout procedures
• Ensure patient safety by maintaining a sterile field and adhering to all procedural protocols
• Prepare and maintain procedure documentation and lab reports accurately and thoroughly
• Support safe and efficient flow of cases, including preparation and turnover of the EP lab
• Participate in ongoing education and skills advancement relevant to cardiac electrophysiology

$2,588 - $2,815/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
