Key Qualifications:
- Registered or certified as an Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) preferred
- Proven experience handling imaging equipment in an EP lab setting
- Familiarity with cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for EP lab technology and monitoring systems
- Effective communication abilities and collaborative work style
- Up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging systems and EP lab technology during procedures
- Assist physicians with set-up, monitoring, and technical aspects of cardiac EP studies
- Ensure safe, sterile, and efficient clinical environments before, during, and after procedures
- Document patient data, interpret and relay crucial information to the care team
- Troubleshoot equipment and support advanced EP protocols
- Educate patients on procedure preparation and post-procedure care
- Contribute to quality improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
