Key Qualifications:

• Registered or certified as an Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) preferred
• Proven experience handling imaging equipment in an EP lab setting
• Familiarity with cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and protocols
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for EP lab technology and monitoring systems
• Effective communication abilities and collaborative work style
• Up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging systems and EP lab technology during procedures
• Assist physicians with set-up, monitoring, and technical aspects of cardiac EP studies
• Ensure safe, sterile, and efficient clinical environments before, during, and after procedures
• Document patient data, interpret and relay crucial information to the care team
• Troubleshoot equipment and support advanced EP protocols
• Educate patients on procedure preparation and post-procedure care
• Contribute to quality improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
