Qualifications:

• Registered or Certified Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist credentials required
• Prior experience working in an imaging or EP lab setting
• Proficiency with a range of EP mapping and ablation systems
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail, patient safety, and adherence to established protocols
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants
• Operate and calibrate EP and imaging equipment throughout each procedure
• Monitor and document patient status during and post-procedure, ensuring comfort and safety
• Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of procedure rooms
• Maintain high standards in infection prevention, quality assurance, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to deliver optimal patient care
• Support training and education efforts for peers and new staff as needed
