Interventional Radiology - Asheville, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Proficiency with sterile techniques, patient assessment, and monitoring during IR procedures
• Advanced knowledge of imaging protocols and safety measures
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Day shift with potential for on-call, evenings, or weekends as department needs arise

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status, providing prompt intervention when needed
• Prepare procedural rooms, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and interventional technologists to optimize patient care and procedure workflow
• Document all aspects of care accurately in patient records
• Educate patients and families regarding procedural details, what to expect, and post-procedure care instructions
• Adhere to infection control and regulatory standards throughout all activities

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
