Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license with current registration
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Interventional Radiology Nurse or in Imaging - Interventional Radiology
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Proficiency in assisting with interventional radiology procedures, including conscious sedation
  • Strong IV and vascular access skills
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; quickly respond to emergent situations
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff for seamless patient care
  • Utilize advanced imaging technologies to assist with procedures and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Administer medications, manage IV lines, and provide patient education regarding procedures and recovery
  • Maintain meticulous documentation according to established protocols
