Interventional Radiology (IR) | Interlochen, Michigan

Step into a dynamic Interventional Radiology environment, utilizing your expertise as an IR Tech to provide essential imaging support for both angio and neuro procedures. You'll collaborate closely with skilled providers, playing a vital role in both patient care and technical excellence.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (5x8 hour shifts)
• On-call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 3rd to 5th, depending on staffing needs

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(R) registration required
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent IR Tech experience
• Demonstrated competency in angiography and neuro procedures
• Proven abilities in sterile fluid preparation and provider assistance during interventions
• Experience with Siemens Biplane equipment preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Independently operate C-arm and other fluoroscopy imaging equipment to capture clear, diagnostic images for interventional and diagnostic procedures
• Scrub in and assist physicians during complex cases, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, handling fluids and equipment with meticulous attention to infection control protocols
• Responsively manage equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance as needed
• Provide compassionate patient care, clearly communicating procedural steps and providing reassurance
• Maintain accurate documentation and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
