A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) with a proven track record in angiographic and neuro-interventional procedures. This position is ideal for professionals skilled in advanced imaging techniques who excel in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • 13-week contract
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
  • Rotating on-call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend every 3rd–5th depending on staffing

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT(R) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Proficient in angiographic and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Demonstrated expertise in sterile fluid preparation and direct assistance to providers during procedures
  • Experience with Siemans Biplane systems is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment to visualize targeted anatomy for a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Scrub in and assist physicians during interventional radiology cases while maintaining a sterile field
  • Prepare and manage sterile fluids and contrast media as needed
  • Respond to call duties with professionalism and promptness, ensuring high standards of patient care at all times
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate patient positioning, safety, and optimal imaging outcomes
