Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology or imaging-focused nursing
• Proficiency in procedural sedation, sterile technique, and monitoring patients during vascular and non-vascular interventions
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patients' condition, responding promptly to changes and initiating appropriate interventions
• Assist the interventional radiology team with patient preparation, sterile field set-up, and procedural support
• Administer medications, contrast agents, and sedatives as ordered in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation for procedures, assessments, and interventions
• Educate patients and families about procedures and aftercare to ensure optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
