Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology and imaging
  • Hands-on knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and imaging techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical settings
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with medical staff to prepare and deliver interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, intervening promptly as needed
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as directed
  • Administer medications, contrast agents, and moderate sedation per protocols
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, expected outcomes, and aftercare
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
