Interventional Radiology (IR) | New Berlin, Wisconsin

Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab Technology, and IR procedures for a contract-based opportunity. This role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional imaging support and patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification and training as a Radiologic Technologist or Cath Lab Tech
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedures
• Proficient in utilizing and maintaining advanced imaging equipment and technology
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Current BLS certification; additional credentials preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging and interventional equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in the Cath Lab and IR suites
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Document procedures, patient responses, and supply usage in patient records accurately
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure the cleanliness of procedure rooms
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical teams as needed
• Adhere to all facility policies, including those related to radiation safety and patient confidentiality
