Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced care within an Interventional Radiology department. This position is essential for providing safe and effective nursing support throughout a variety of imaging-guided procedures. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology or similar imaging environments preferred
  • Proficiency in monitoring, assessment, and documentation specific to pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
  • Basic and advanced life support certification (BLS/ACLS)
  • Excellent teamwork, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to evolving clinical scenarios in a fast-paced department

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ health status prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and current medications
  • Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care throughout interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, contrast agents, and sedation as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, procedures, and patient responses
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient flow and optimize care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols at all times
