This 13-week role places you in a dynamic healthcare environment where you’ll provide critical Interventional Radiology (IR) support and work closely with a range of specialists. Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (dependent on patient schedule)
- On-call: One week every fourth week
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a radiologic technologist, or at least one year in Special Procedures/Vascular Interventional Radiology
- Recent IR/Hybrid OR experience is a must
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification
- ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred:
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology Program
- ARRT VI Radiology Certification
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Operate fluoroscopy, specialized imaging equipment, and maintain sterile technique in hybrid OR settings
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
