Interventional Radiology (IR) | Waukesha, Wisconsin

Advance your career as a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology within a renowned, high-acuity environment. This position offers a dynamic experience supporting complex adult cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in a large, well-equipped hospital. You’ll play an integral role in a fast-paced Cath Lab, handling diagnostic and interventional cases, and partnering with an expert multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating day and mid shifts, with 8-hour or 12-hour options (0600-1430, 1100-1930, 1200-2030, or 0600-1830)
• Flexible combinations of 8h/12h shifts to meet weekly requirements
• On-call rotation: Friday-Friday (7 days every 2-3 months, worst-case scenario)
• Occasional weekend shifts/call; holiday work may be required as department needs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Cath Lab Tech experience
• Required certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS for all staff
  • RN: WI RN license, NIHSS preferred
  • RTR: ARRT(R) and WI License, RCIS preferred
• Comfortable with cardiac and peripheral diagnostics, interventional procedures, and preferably hybrid lab cases (not required)
• Experience with scrubbing, panning, conscious sedation, and managing drips (role-dependent)
• Prior experience with EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, hemodynamic monitoring systems preferred
• COVID vaccine required
• Not open to first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to adult patients undergoing a range of cardiac procedures including STEMI interventions, biopsies, atherectomies, and more
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Cath Lab and support departments
• Maintain readiness for emergent cases while adhering to hospital’s safety standards and fatigue policy
• Chart meticulously within EPIC

$2,967 - $3,128/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
