Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Athens, GA

Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide essential imaging services on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated care team to deliver advanced neuroimaging and interventional radiology procedures in a hospital setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 9–10 days of call per month
• Must be available to work the week of 12/29

Qualifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience as an IR Tech, with specific focus on neuro procedures
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain IR imaging equipment efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures with an emphasis on neuro-imaging cases
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy at all times during procedures
• Prepare and maintain radiology suites, equipment, and supplies following infection control guidelines
• Support radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Document all patient interactions and imaging results accurately in electronic health records
• Respond promptly to call responsibilities, providing timely care during urgent cases
