Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Athens, Georgia

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 9–10 call shifts per month
• Availability required during the week of December 29

Key Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) with a strong background in Neuro cases
• Proven proficiency with imaging equipment and IR techniques
• Ability to respond effectively and compassionately during on-call hours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently perform IR procedures, including those requiring advanced Neuro imaging
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment for optimal operation and safety
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to assess, plan, and support patient care during IR procedures
• Educate and comfort patients throughout procedures while adhering to all safety and infection control policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records for patient cases
• Support and enforce departmental protocols and quality standards

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
