As a travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, you'll enjoy the unique opportunity to blend professional growth with exploration—discovering top-tier healthcare standards while taking in everything the city has to offer, from world-class dining and arts to nature escapes just outside the urban bustle.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day Shift
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
  • On-call: 1 weekday night every 4th week (Fri/Sat/Sun rotation)

Working under the guidance of experienced leaders, you’ll contribute to an advanced vascular institute, assisting with both standard and complex procedures across IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings. Each week brings exposure to varied clinical challenges, new workplace strategies, and collaborations with radiologists, surgeons, and cardiologists—broadening your perspective and enriching your resume.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active ARRT (CV, R, or VI) or RCIS certification
  • Valid BLS certification (ARC-BLS or Instructor accepted)
  • ACLS certification (preferred upon hire)
  • Minimum three years’ experience in interventional special procedures (IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings)
  • Proficiency in English, with well-developed communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform and optimize a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies; maintain sterile technique throughout
  • Accurately document, enter charges, and uphold regulatory and safety standards
  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education, including post-procedure care
  • Support department operations, participate in training and quality improvement
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and on-call duties
