Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Aurora, CO

Join a specialized Interventional Radiology team as an experienced IR Tech in the vibrant city of Aurora, Colorado. This travel position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Siemens IR equipment in a fast-paced, supportive environment focusing on complex procedures such as Y-90 treatments, line placements, complex biliary procedures, biopsies, and vascular interventions. Neuro cases are not part of this role, allowing you to hone your expertise in these specialized areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Operate Siemens IR imaging equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with a small team of skilled IR Techs to deliver patient-centered care.
• Adhere to unit policies and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Support colleagues by maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to assist.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech is required.
• Vascular Interventional (VI) experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Siemens IR equipment is a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding of common IR procedures excluding neuro interventions.
• Ability to work day shifts with on-call responsibilities (one weekday and one weekend call per month).

Schedule:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week.
• On-call: One weekday and one weekend day per month.
