Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Aurora, IL

Step into a vital healthcare environment as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, utilizing your imaging expertise to deliver exceptional patient care in a contract role. Schedule/Hours:

• 0hr Day Shift, Monday–Friday
• On-call required: 7–10 call shifts per month
• Weekend and holiday coverage includes call shifts only (minimum one holiday per contract)

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IR Technologist with strong proficiency in imaging and interventional procedures
• ARRT certification and state licensure as required
• Comfortable participating in regular on-call rotation
• Flexibility to float to CT if escorting a patient
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel within the Central Chicagoland region as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians with a wide range of procedures
• Respond promptly and effectively to call-back and emergency situations
• Float to CT imaging when accompanying assigned patients, supporting uninterrupted care
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate with nursing, providers, and support staff to prioritize patient care
• Uphold infection control and radiation safety practices at all times
