Serving as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you’ll be instrumental in providing safe, age-appropriate care and performing a variety of technical diagnostic procedures in interventional, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings. Working directly under the direction of leadership, this role allows you to exercise independent judgment, enhance your skills, and benefit from exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership structures, offering valuable growth for your résumé.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift (United States of America)
- 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Includes one weekday night every fourth week (Fri/Sat/Sun rotation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment and position patients for optimal diagnostic results
- Ensure compliance with sterile technique, safety protocols, documentation, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (radiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists)
- Educate patients and support systems, provide post-procedural care instructions
- Support departmental initiatives, inventory, record-keeping, and assist with staff training as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS certification
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in interventional special procedures (IR, cardiac, vascular hybrid)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously after orientation
