Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:30 am – 6:00 pm)
  • On call every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT(R) certification
  • Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist License
  • BLS Certification required
  • Neurointerventional and IR tech experience a must

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support for a comprehensive range of IR and neurointerventional procedures including, but not limited to, angiography, discograms, myelograms, embolizations, cryoablations, and clot retrievals.
  • Assist with patient care during both routine and complex interventions, maintaining a sterile or non-sterile field as appropriate.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment in accordance with prescribed protocols, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Provide clinical instruction to students and residents, acting as a preceptor when needed.
  • Perform routine equipment quality assurance and help manage supply inventories.
  • Navigate electronic information systems for scheduling and provide accurate procedure coding.
  • Stay current with evolving technology and techniques through ongoing educational opportunities.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality, incident reporting, and compliance with institutional protocols.
