This position immerses you in advanced neurointerventional radiology, bringing the chance to work alongside skilled leaders and broaden your skill set with the latest technology and procedures in Angio Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR. Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10 hour shifts: 7:30a–6:00p
• On-call every other weekend

Qualifications:

• ARRT(R) certification required
• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification
• Previous IR and neurointerventional experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support for a wide range of IR and neurointerventional procedures, including angiograms, embolizations, myelograms, clot retrievals, and more
• Operate advanced imaging equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and required protocols
• Support both sterile and non-sterile neurointerventional cases, including tumor and spinal lesion embolizations
• Educate and mentor students or residents as a preceptor when needed
• Complete regular quality assurance checks and assist with equipment maintenance and supply management
• Use clinical information systems for scheduling, documentation, and procedure coding
• Adhere to strict clinical standards and hospital protocols, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
