A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is sought for a contract opportunity, delivering high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role focuses on providing expert support for interventional radiology (IR) procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 07:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Some on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment

Essential Qualifications:

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Valid State of Florida radiology license
• College diploma or official transcripts
• Demonstrated expertise as an IR Tech
• Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during invasive interventional radiology procedures
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment ensuring optimal image quality
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Prepare and position patients accurately for a variety of IR procedures
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing compassionate care
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes
• Document all procedures and patient responses in accordance with facility policies
• Handle some on-call duties as required by the department
