Advance your career supporting a dynamic imaging department in an engaging hospital environment, specializing in interventional radiology procedures. Utilize your expertise as an Interventional Radiology Technologist to make a difference in patient outcomes by operating cutting-edge imaging equipment and assisting with minimally invasive treatments.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour day shifts
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Participation in on-call and call-back rotations as required
- Weekend and holiday rotations may be required
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration (IR credential preferred)
- State licensure as required
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or as an IR Tech strongly preferred
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy, angiography suite, and digital imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to respond to rapidly changing situations with professionalism and confidence
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate positioning
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment during invasive procedures
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams during interventions
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to established safety protocols
- Assist with on-call responsibilities, including call-back as needed
- Provide high-quality imaging services while adhering to regulatory and hospital standards
