Key responsibilities:
- Operate specialized IR imaging equipment to assist providers in minimally invasive procedures
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging studies
- Monitor patient safety and provide reassurance throughout procedures
- Practice strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique standards
- Accurately document procedure details and collaborate in care planning with the interprofessional team
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure functionality and calibration
- Remain up-to-date with latest imaging protocols and hospital policies
Desired qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab environment strongly recommended
- Active state license or eligibility to obtain Massachusetts licensure
- Demonstrated excellence in patient care and safety practices
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings
