An opportunity is available for an experienced IR Technologist seeking to contribute essential imaging skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- State licensure as required for radiologic technologists
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology is highly preferred
- Proficiency in performing image-guided procedures and fluoroscopic studies
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication skills with both physicians and patients
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, patient-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment for diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
- Support physicians during a variety of minimally invasive therapies
- Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Accurately document and manage patient records in accordance with facility protocols
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and support staff to deliver seamless care
