An opportunity is available for an experienced IR Technologist seeking to contribute essential imaging skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role offers the chance to work alongside dedicated providers, making an important impact on patient care through interventional radiology procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • State licensure as required for radiologic technologists
  • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in performing image-guided procedures and fluoroscopic studies
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with both physicians and patients
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, patient-centered environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment for diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
  • Support physicians during a variety of minimally invasive therapies
  • Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures
  • Accurately document and manage patient records in accordance with facility protocols
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and support staff to deliver seamless care
