Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Bristol, Connecticut

Join a highly regarded healthcare team specializing in Interventional Radiology and play a critical role in patient care. This contract role is designed for an experienced IR Tech with expertise in both vascular and neuro interventional cases—neuro experience is especially essential to succeed in this position.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
• 40 hours per week
• On-call every other weekend and rotating on-call Monday through Friday
• On-call for one holiday if it occurs during the contract period

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience as an IR Tech, specifically handling both vascular and neuro interventional cases
• Demonstrated neuro interventional skills are mandatory
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ability to operate, or willingness to be trained in, EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack (prior experience with these systems is appreciated, but not required)
• Flexibility with on-call rotations and holiday coverage
• Active professional certification and current credentials as required by state regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with complex interventional radiology procedures including both neuro and vascular interventions
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and sterile techniques during procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Remain available and responsive while on-call, maintaining readiness for urgent and emergency cases
