Take your expertise in imaging and interventional radiology to the next level as an Interventional Procedural Technologist. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and be instrumental across radiology suites and the OR.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Competency performing as an IR Tech, with previous experience in imaging—specifically interventional radiology
  • Skilled in both diagnostic and interventional IR procedures: angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, and abdominal interventions
  • Familiarity with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula work, Y90/SIRT
  • Experience supporting neuro, cardiac, or vascular procedures is required
  • Ability to scrub in for sterile procedures and circulate cases effectively in radiology or surgical settings
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and dedication to high standards of patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment for a range of interventional and diagnostic procedures
  • Assist with sterile scrubbing, including preparation, support, and maintenance of aseptic technique during interventions
  • Circulate throughout cases, anticipating procedural needs, supporting the interventional team, and facilitating efficient workflow
  • Ensure patient safety and provide high-touch clinical support throughout all IR procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in both radiology and OR environments
