Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring proper imaging protocols and patient safety throughout
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to support patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following prescribed techniques to achieve optimal image quality
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear explanations to enhance comfort and cooperation
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
  • Document procedures, patient observations, and equipment usage with accuracy and attention to detail

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5:25 am and 12:00 pm shifts available; schedule specifics discussed during interview

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registry as an IR Tech (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in interventional radiology and advanced imaging techniques preferred
  • Valid state licensure (if required)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Competence with imaging equipment and computer systems used in radiology
  • CPR/BLS certification
