Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialized accreditation in Interventional Radiology (VI or CV) required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Tech in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, sterile technique, and radiation safety standards
• Proficient with imaging equipment operation and patient positioning for interventional procedures
• Able to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient care
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Schedule Details:

• 5:25 am and 12:00 pm (noon) shift options available
• Contract-based opportunity; specific assignment length discussed during interview

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for various interventional radiology procedures
• Assist providers during minimally invasive procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety throughout
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to clinical needs
• Maintain equipment, following all protocols for cleaning and quality assurance
• Document procedures, images, and patient responses in compliance with facility standards
• Support inventory management and readiness of procedure rooms
