Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Charlotte, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Certification and registration as an IR Tech (ARRT preferred)
• At least one year of recent experience in interventional radiology
• Proficient in imaging equipment operation and sterile technique
• Current BLS certification
• Skillful in vascular and non-vascular procedures, contrast administration, and troubleshooting imaging technology
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nurses

Schedule:

• Shifts: 5:25 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (no on-call obligations)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging quality
• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment and supplies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide updates to the clinical team
• Strictly adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital policy
• Support ongoing quality assurance and participate in equipment calibration and troubleshooting
