IR Technologist - Charlotte, NC

An experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity providing advanced imaging services. Work in a dynamic healthcare setting utilizing your diagnostic expertise and patient care skills to support optimal clinical outcomes.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (36 hours weekly)
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 7:00am – 7:00pm
• Weekend position
• Holiday coverage required

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or as an IR Tech
• Current ARRT certification and required state licensure
• Skilled in operating IR and diagnostic imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and vascular access procedures
• Ability to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and patients
• Willingness to fulfill on-call and call back responsibilities as assigned
• Comfortable floating to additional units or imaging modalities as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, supporting clinicians and ensuring high-quality imaging
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Monitor patient safety and comfort at all times, adhering to infection control guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient responses, and clinical observations
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergent cases and call back needs
• Participate in floating assignments as required within imaging or related departments
