Working in a bustling Level I Trauma, teaching, and stroke center with over 1,000 combined licensed beds means direct involvement with diverse patient populations—ranging from critical care to outpatient cases. Schedule/Hours:

  • Facilities operate 24/7/365; fill vacant shifts according to your contract (no rotation required).
  • On-call duties are fairly shared among all technologists, including travelers, ensuring flexibility and balanced workloads.
  • 13-week contract with consistent shifts.
  • Team-based holiday coverage unless approved off in advance.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of interventional radiology experience (first-time travelers welcome).
  • ARRT-R certification and BLS required.
  • Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and a cooperative, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures for both adult and pediatric patients from various units and outpatient settings (ED, ICU, nursing, etc.).
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment (Siemens single/bi-plane, Cannon bi-plane).
  • Collaborate with lead techs, supervisors, and managers to deliver top-quality imaging services.
  • Support the department’s commitment to high skill standards and compassionate patient care.
