Step into a vital role specializing in Interventional Radiology, providing advanced imaging support critical to patient care for a dedicated healthcare facility. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to carry out diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, playing an important part in facilitating excellent patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm
- Weekend position with on-call and callback requirements
- Holiday coverage required
- Floating to related departments as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current ARRT Registration in Radiography and corresponding IR modality required
- State licensure or certification as applicable
- Previous experience as an IR Tech strongly preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique, radiation safety, and infection control standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Flexibility to float to other imaging areas when necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver responsive and coordinated care
- Respond to call-back requests and participate in the required weekend and holiday rotation
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Adhere to all regulatory, facility, and infection prevention protocols
