Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT preferred)
• Valid state licensure (if required)
• Proven experience with IR procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and biopsies
• Comfortable operating fluoroscopy units, CT scanners, and other specialized imaging equipment
• Comprehensive understanding of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and patient monitoring
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• CPR or BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Operate advanced imaging equipment for real-time guidance during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to coordinate treatment plans
• Ensure all images are high-quality and documentation meets regulatory and clinical requirements
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate, clear explanations to patients and address any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with post-procedure care as needed
