Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on Interventional Radiology.
• Valid, state-appropriate licensure, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience in IR procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions, assisting physicians during minimally invasive image-guided treatments.
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) during interventional procedures.
• Assist radiologists and physicians in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and procedural progress; provide thorough patient care pre- and post-procedure.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques, documentation, and quality assurance standards.
• Troubleshoot technical equipment issues and report any malfunctions promptly.
