Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with current IR Tech credentials required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an IR Tech
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
- Proficient in the operation of complex imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging systems following hospital protocols
- Adhere to safety standards, including dose reduction and infection control
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, monitoring, and documentation before, during, and after procedures
- Support physicians during image-guided procedures, providing technical assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and imaging records in accordance with facility standards
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment and provide excellent patient care throughout the procedure process
