Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Concord, NC

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience as an IR Tech in a busy imaging department. This contract role calls for individuals who excel in interventional radiology procedures and can provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise as an IR Technologist, with hands-on experience in interventional radiology imaging
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Thorough knowledge of safety practices, sterile techniques, and radiation protection
• Strong ability to assess patients, prepare for procedures, and assist physicians effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexibility and composure in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to support patients and collaborate with the care team

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate imaging equipment for a variety of interventional procedures
• Accurately follow physician instructions to perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant
• Assist with preparation and post-procedure care as needed
• Follow all protocols to ensure a sterile and safe environment
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive patient care
