Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered or certified IR Tech with current credentials
- Proven experience in imaging, specifically interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy, angiography, and other advanced imaging technology
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and proper equipment handling
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy in imaging and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for a variety of interventional radiology procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and safety compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to assist with vascular and non-vascular procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing support and relaying any concerns to the team
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records
- Uphold strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols throughout all daily duties
