Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered or certified IR Tech with current credentials
  • Proven experience in imaging, specifically interventional radiology procedures
  • Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy, angiography, and other advanced imaging technology
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and proper equipment handling
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy in imaging and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for a variety of interventional radiology procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to assist with vascular and non-vascular procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing support and relaying any concerns to the team
  • Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records
  • Uphold strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols throughout all daily duties
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment, supporting patient care goals
